Role Summary

The Payment Specialist – Payment Posting is responsible for accurately and timely posting all recoveries. This role serves as the daily point of contact for all payment-related inquiries, both internally and externally. The Specialist also handles escalated payment issues, including refunds and stop payments, and manages client reporting. This Specialist works directly with external customers, client services, accounting and internal frontline and operational teams.

  • Post all recoveries accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Serve as the daily point of contact for all payment-related questions from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Handle escalated payment issues including processing refunds and stop payments.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate and timely client reports regarding payment postings.
  • Collaborate with external clients, client services, accounting and internal teams to ensure smooth payment operations.
  • Maintain detailed records of payment postings, issue resolutions, and client interactions.
  • Assist with audits and reconciliations as required by the department.
