Role Summary

The People Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting day-to-day people operations, HR related projects as well as supporting organizational development activities such as new hire orientation, people communications, employee engagement, and employee development initiatives. This position will play a key role in supporting the broader people team, Intellivo’s team members, and will support a wide range of disciplines across HR.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, a self-starter, collaborative, and passionate about creating a positive workplace culture while ensuring HR processes are effective and scalable. 

Responsibilities

Employee Lifecycle & Organizational Development

  • Oversee and improve first day onboarding, new hire orientation, and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth employee experience.
  • Partner with the people team on internal people communications
  • Provide support for performance management processes and employee engagement initiatives
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating employee training and change management initiatives

HR Operations & Employee Support

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other related matters.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve employee concerns in a positive and timely manner.
  • Support the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in audits and reporting requirements
  • Assist with updating employee records, ensuring data accuracy in HRIS systems.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to streamline People Operations and improve the employee experience.
  • Support HR projects such as system upgrades, process efficiencies, and organizational development initiatives.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in HR operations, HR administration, or a related role.

Skills:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Skilled in managing projects, timelines and deliverables.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate meaningful insights.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
