Role Summary

As a Worker's Compensation Specialist-Team Leadfor Intellivo, you are responsible for leading a team that represents our client’s financial interests and negotiating a recovery across an assigned portfolio of workers’ compensation cases.  To be successful in this role, you must be highly organized, have persuasive communication skills, have a natural ability to solve problems with critical thinking, and be a self-starter.  You will be representing the top companies in the country and your hard work will help them to combat the growing costs of healthcare that employees and employers are faced with year over year.  You don’t have to have the “know-how” of all areas of insurance, you just need to know how to get the answers!  

This role is an on-site position at 6075 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119

  • Manage and oversee a team that manages large portfolios of reimbursement cases, while also contributing to the team’s recovery goals
  • Own and lead the strategy on team’s processes to expedite case completion and resolve case favorably for our clients
  • Work with Providers to recover claims paid by the health plan that were also rightfully paid by the workers’ compensation plan
  • Ensure the accuracy and quality of case status information for client reporting
  • Recognize and understand opportunities and needs across a large portfolio of cases
  • Understand case actions and their impact on clients' financial recovery
  • Ask questions and test assumptions made in the handoff of information
  • Build strong communication and trust with team members to drive performance
  • Understand and train on how to negotiate a favorable resolution and settlement for our client’s financial lien
  • Understand applicable state laws, rules, and regulations for workers’ compensation claims

  • Previous professional work experience
  • Strong and confident verbal communication skills;
