Michael Afsah-Mohallatee

Michael Afsah-Mohallatee has extensive experience in the aerospace and medical software industries. As the Vice President of Software Engineering at Intelsat since 2006, Michael has provided technical oversight for the Intelsat Epic program, managing high-level planning, business requirements, and team direction. Michael also served as a Director of Application Development, focusing on system design and operational support. In addition, Michael founded Olive Blossom, Inc. in 2006, offering business intelligence consulting and developing iOS games. Previous roles include Software Architect at Rosses Medical, Software Developer at Precision Therapy International and CSC - Computer Sciences Corporation, where Michael contributed to significant projects, including telemetry systems for NASA spacecraft. Michael holds a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland.
