Stephen Chernow

Stephen Chernow serves as Vice President of Commercial Legal Affairs at Intelsat, a position held since February 2022. Prior roles include Special Counsel at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP, Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Kymeta Corporation, General Counsel at OneWeb, and Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Intelsat from September 2000 to January 2018. Chernow's extensive experience encompasses general legal affairs, regulatory compliance, business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and litigation. Prior to the telecommunications sector, Chernow was Senior Counsel at Mobil Oil, overseeing environmental litigation and advising on various legal matters. Chernow holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from The Johns Hopkins University.
