José M. (Pepe) Fernández

José M. (Pepe) Fernández has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. José M. (Pepe) began their career in 2007 as a Scientific Writer for CONTENIDOS E INFORMACIÓN DE SALUD. José M. (Pepe) then worked as a Scientific Editor (Contributor) for Unidad Editorial in 2009. In the same year, they also served as an R&D Project Manager for ITAV, where they conducted R&D consulting.

From 2010 to 2011, Fernández held multiple roles simultaneously. José M. (Pepe) worked as a Science Education Consultant for both Ogilvy Healthworld and CONMUNICA MEDIATRADER. José M. (Pepe) also worked as an R&D Consultant for INGENASA during this time.

In 2011, Fernández joined Planet Media as the Head of International & Innovation IT Strategy. In this role, they managed international projects, handled international business development, and oversaw partnering and consortium management. José M. (Pepe) also submitted various proposals to institutions and agencies.

Fernández then joined Nextinit in 2014 as an Innovation Consultant & Nextinit Champion. In this position, they focused on driving innovation initiatives within the organization.

In 2013, Fernández joined Intelygenz as a Senior IT Manager and Product Owner. José M. (Pepe) led technical teams and delivered solutions for industries such as Retail, Media, Pharma, and Telco. José M. (Pepe) later took on the role of Senior IT Project Lead and Business Product Owner - Head of R&D Funding Strategy, where they managed IT projects and led a set of six teams responsible for the delivery of an international e-Commerce project. From January 2020, Fernández transitioned to more business-oriented tasks as the Head of Partnerships, External Relationships, and R&D Strategy at Intelygenz.

Throughout their career, Fernández has demonstrated expertise in IT project management, product ownership, and business strategy.

José M. (Pepe) Fernández pursued their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics at the University of Valencia from 1996 to 2004.
