Cobus Booyse

Cobus Booyse has extensive work experience in the mining industry. Cobus started their career as an Engineer in Training at Anglo American Platinum in 2012 and worked there until 2015. During this time, they gained experience in various roles, including Section Engineer for Rustenburg Surface Services and Waterval UG2 Concentrator.

In 2016, Cobus joined Sibanye-Stillwater as a Unit Manager Engineering, where they were responsible for Engineering Services and Ore Transport. Cobus later became the Superintendent Projects Planning before leaving the company in 2021.

Currently, Cobus is working at Intenda where they hold the positions of Solutions Architect and Senior Consultant, starting in 2021 and 2023 respectively.

Cobus Booyse completed their Matric education from Hoërskool Waterkloof between the years 2001 and 2006. Cobus further pursued higher education by enrolling at the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
