Laurel Dumont is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in philanthropy, legal advocacy, and social entrepreneurship. Currently serving as Senior Director of Strategy and Learning at Intentional Philanthropy LLC and Senior Director of Grantmaking at the Solon E Summerfield Foundation, Dumont also holds leadership roles at the Harman Family Foundation and contributes as a writer for NYN Media. Previous positions include Principal Consultant at Collaborative Strategies and Senior Director of New Ventures at Leadership for Educational Equity, where Dumont established a Venture Fund and developed programs to promote educational equity. As the Founder and Executive Director of The Center for Collaborative Change, Dumont led initiatives in Newark, while earlier roles also included legal advocacy for ex-offenders and low-income individuals in various capacities. Dumont holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School, a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan School of Social Work, and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Wesleyan University.
