Alfredo Rodriguez

Alfredo Rodriguez is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in credit risk management and commercial banking. Currently serving as a Senior Credit Risk Officer at the Inter-American Development Bank since April 2009, Alfredo oversees credit risk for the bank's investment and derivatives portfolio, as well as for Non Sovereign Guaranteed Financial Institutions and Funds in Latin America. Prior to this role, Alfredo spent over a decade at Citigroup, where notable positions included Director of the Commercial Bank Group in Egypt, Director of Trade for Financial Institutions in Latin America, Director of the Financial Institutions Group in Colombia, and Director of the SME Group in Colombia, highlighting a strong leadership background in business development and risk oversight. Alfredo holds a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes.
