Enrique Iglesias Rodríguez

Enrique Iglesias Rodríguez is a Telecom Sector Specialist at the Inter-American Development Bank since May 2013, focusing on the development of broadband and digital economy agendas in Latin America and the Caribbean through technical assistance and loan operations. Previously, Enrique held the position of Technical Advisor for the Broadband Special Program at the same institution, consulting on public policies, regulation, infrastructure deployment, and service development across 26 member countries. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting in the Telecommunications sector, where Enrique specialized in strategy and operations. Initial roles included a Marketing Trainee at Optenet and a Researcher at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, contributing to a thesis on high-speed signal transmission over optics. Enrique holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a Master’s Degree in Banking and Financial Markets from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
