Luis Fernando Corrales

Luis Fernando Corrales is an experienced economics professional with a diverse background in international development and economic policy. Currently serving as a Senior Associate and Economics Consultant at the Inter-American Development Bank since May 2022, Luis specializes in analyzing country strategies and evaluating operational challenges. Prior roles include Economic Advisor at the Ministry of Finance in Costa Rica, where Luis led the preparation of a significant Macroeconomic Risks Assessment Report, and consultant positions at various institutions, including the Inter-American Development Bank and the Center for International Development at Harvard. Luis holds a Master’s degree in International Development from Harvard Kennedy School, a Master's in Economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and a Bachelor's in Economics from Universidad Nacional.
