Maria Isabel Sandoval

Maria Isabel Sandoval is a seasoned Communications Expert with extensive experience in strategic communications and media relations. Currently employed at the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) since June 2017, Maria Isabel contributes to the design and implementation of communications strategies aimed at positioning the IADB as a key partner in boosting economic and social development in Latin America, particularly in Guatemala. Prior to this, from June 2016 to June 2017, Maria Isabel served as Communications Director for the Distinguished Committee for the Blind and Deaf of Guatemala, focusing on external relations and media management. Maria Isabel holds a Master's Degree in History from Universidad Francisco Marroquín, obtained in 2021, and a Master's Degree in Communications Direction from UADE, completed in 2016, alongside a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations from Universidad Francisco Marroquín, earned in 2010.
