Jason Plumhoff

Lead Developer And Software Architect at Inter-State Studio and Publishing Co.

Jason Plumhoff has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Jason started their career at Plasma-Therm in 1998 as an Applications Engineer, where they worked until 2001. During this time, they gained experience in designing and running experiments for the development of photomask etchers.

Following that, Jason joined Unaxis in 2001 as a Sr. Applications Engineer. Jason was involved in multiple DOEs and was awarded patents for their work on pulsed plasma processing and the use of genetic algorithms for endpoint detection.

In 2005, Jason moved to Oerlikon as a Principal Scientist. Jason led a team of engineers in the development of the ME-V photomask etcher and presented papers at international conferences. Jason also received patents based on cryogenic etching of photomasks.

In 2008, Jason returned to Plasma-Therm, this time as the Manager of Controls Engineering. Jason led a team responsible for designing and supporting control systems for plasma etch and deposition equipment. Jason also served as a Jira and Confluence Server administrator.

In 2013, Jason transitioned to the role of Information Systems Manager at Plasma-Therm, leading a team responsible for providing shared IT services across all RAJE-owned companies. Jason created integration apps for combining data from multiple systems and optimized hardware inventory management.

Finally, since 2017, Jason has been working at Inter-State Studio & Publishing Co., initially as an IT Project Manager and currently as the Lead Developer and Software Architect. In their current role, they are responsible for identifying and implementing developer infrastructure, providing training and architecture guidance for the development team. Jason is also leading a team in the redesign and implementation of major business systems.

Jason Plumhoff earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Physics with a Computer Emphasis from Missouri State University. Jason attended the university from 1991 to 1996. Later, Jason pursued a Master of Science degree in Materials Science from Missouri State University, from 1996 to 1998.
