Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales to lead our Sales team and drive the growth of our company. As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, managing the Sales team, and achieving revenue targets. This is a senior leadership position that requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of sales strategies, and the ability to build and maintain key client relationships. You will be responsible for managing operational activities of the Sales team, developing procedures to improve sales processes and operational efficiency.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Develop and implement a strategic vision and direction for the Unit and ensure its delivery;

  • Lead the implementation of account-based selling principles to identify and nurture relationships with key clients;

  • Drive the growth of existing strategic accounts and acquire new accounts from major global organizations in the public and private sectors;

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects, understanding their needs, providing innovative solutions to meet their requirements;

  • Identify new business opportunities;

  • Drive and coordinate necessary changes to achieve results by collaborating with cross-functional departments and teams to ensure company goals achievements;

  • Be accountable for setting OKRs, KPIs and SLAs for Unit, team members;

  • Track, monitor, and communicate the progress of the team, ensuring that individuals and the team meet OKRs, KPIs and SLAs, work on improvement of the results if necessary;

  • Lead and manage the team, providing guidance, coaching on ground, and support to ensure high performance and productivity performing regular 1on1s and team meetings, setting priorities, planning workforce, assigning tasks and responsibilities;

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide timely feedback to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement;

  • Effectively apply concepts and procedures relative to training and developing talent, budgeting, and cost control;

  • Establish Unit's processes, policies, procedures, instructions and guidance for the operational daily activities;

  • Oversee the planning and execution of Unit's projects;

  • Educate and ensure company strategy around Unit and related topics within company's onboarding process;

  • Solve operational and people problems using knowledge of company's policies and best practices;

  • Build a sustainable Unit;

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify potential risks and opportunities;

  • Foresee frequent travel for business engagements with clients worldwide.

WHAT WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE: 

  • At least 4 years of experience in sales process development and sales (SaaS field is an advantage) of top-level public sectors (institutions EU, UN, ministries, international organizations, corporate and NGOs) management;

  • Proven knowledge of EU/UN institutions, international organizations, NGOs structure & internal procedures is highly advantageous;

  • A strong customer-centric approach;

  • Always look for solutions instead of excuses - you have the “everything is possible” attitude;

  • Possess good leadership skills and proven track record in leading teams through achieving goals and guaranteeing the best customer experience;

  • Can easily identify others talents and strengths;

  • Proficiency in English (C1 level);

  • Experience using data and analytics to measure the impact of your and team’s work;

  • To be tech-savvy or fast-learner of new technologies;

  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed strategic goals in a fast-paced environment;

  • Proven ability to maintain top-class client relationships;

  • Ability to communicate clearly within the team;

  • Detail-oriented and self-driven personality with a need to always achieve more;

  • Excellent teamwork skills;

  • Outstanding diplomatic skills.

SALARY: from 4.600 - 7.000 EUR GROSS +potential quarterly bonus based on performance
