Hifzah Malik

Senior Program Associate, Protection at InterAction

In her role, Hifzah provides support to the Gender-Based Violence and Protection Working Groups and to the wider protection team, including PSEA’s Call to Action.

Hifzah graduated from Columbia University with a Master’s in Public Health in Population and Family Health and a focus on Public Health and Humanitarian Action. She brings a valuable global health research background from working with various INGOs. Prior to joining InterAction, Hifzah interned with Global Network of Women Peacebuilders, Aahung, UNFPA, ChildFund International, and UNICEF. She has also been a consultant for UNICEF’s Education Cannot Wait global fund. Hifzah is passionate about achieving gender equality through advocating for women/girls’ health and ending gender-based violence.
