Laura Ortiz has held a variety of roles since 2011. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Front Desk Agent at CityFlatsHotel. During this time, they also held an Intern role at The Stanley Hotel and an Intern role at NANA Management Services. In 2013, they returned to CityFlatsHotel as a Front Desk Agent & Banquet Server. In 2014, they took on a Guest Services Supervisor role at Crowne Plaza Grand Rapids. Since 2015, they have held roles at Interactions Marketing, including Associate Director, Business Operations, Senior Account Manager, Account Manager, Account Coordinator, and Account Assistant.
Laura Ortiz obtained their High School Diploma from Forest Hills Central High School between 2006 and 2010. Laura then went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management, Adventure Tourism from Grand Valley State University between 2011 and 2014. In May 2020, they obtained seven certifications from LinkedIn: Building a Winning Enterprise Marketing Strategy, HR Guidelines Everyone Should Know, Leading in Crisis, Marketing During a Crisis, Online Marketing Foundations, Project Management Foundations, and Project Management Simplified.
