Nima Rafiei, CAMS has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries. Most recently, Nima worked as a New Accounts Team Lead - Arabic and Hebrew Document Processing at Interactive Brokers, where they reviewed documents submitted by clients and conducted basic due diligence. Prior to that, Nima served as a Coordinator at the Chicago Arabic Teachers Council, organizing workshops and conferences for Arabic educators in the Chicago area. They also worked as a Library Assistant at the University of Chicago and as a Tutor at Sylvan Learning. Nima has experience in education as well, having held roles such as Program Supervisor and Family & Community Liaison at the Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District, Reserve Teacher at Minneapolis Public Schools, and Substitute Teacher at Teachers On Call and Kelly Services. Additionally, Nima worked as a Reference Librarian at the Baha'i World Centre and as a Computer and Tablets Sales Consultant at Best Buy.
Nima Rafiei, CAMS, holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree from the University of Chicago, which was obtained from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, Nima obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from the University of Minnesota, where they had a double major in History and Political Science from 2009 to 2013. They also completed a Minor in Middle Eastern Studies during the same period. Nima obtained their high school diploma from Burnsville High School in 2009. In terms of additional certifications, Nima has obtained the CAMS certification from ACAMS in 2022 and the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) certification from FINRA in 2023. They have also obtained the Oral Proficiency Interview - Arabic (Intermediate High) and Writing Proficiency Test - Arabic (Intermediate High) certifications from ACTFL in 2019, as well as the Non Violent Crisis Intervention certification from the Crisis Prevention Institute in 2018.
