Glen Taylor

Solutions Architect at Interactive Northwest

Glen Taylor has an extensive work experience spanning over 40 years. Glen began their career in 1969 as a Lt JG in the US Navy, where they attended the Defense Language Institute West Coast Branch (Mandarin Chinese) and NAVCOMMSTAPHIL. In 1976, they became a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The Wisconsin Research & Development Center for Cognitive Learning. Glen then moved to Texas A&M University as an Assistant Professor of Psychology in 1978. In 1979, they joined AT&T Bell Laboratories as a Member of Technical Staff, where they worked as a human factors/ergonomics professional for various telephone products and services, a software developer on a large AT&T packet data network offering, and a systems engineer for various AT&T consumer products. In 1987, they joined Lucent Technologies (Bell Labs) as a Member of Technical Staff, where they were responsible for introducing commercial IVR equipment into the AT&T network and developing an architecture that provided various network features and became the basis for the AT&T Transfer Connect service. In 2000, they joined Avaya, Inc. as a Corporate Systems Engineer, Self-Service Practice. Finally, in 2009, they became a Solutions Architect at Interactive Northwest, Inc.

Glen Taylor obtained a BS in Psychology from Louisiana State University between 1964 and 1969. Glen then attended the SSTP63 program at LSU in 1963, before continuing their education at The University of Kansas, where they obtained a PhD and MA in Experimental Psychology between 1972 and 1976. In December 2022, they obtained a Cloud Certified Partner certification from Genesys.
