Jean Angus

Jean Angus has over 17 years of experience in communications and public relations. Jean is currently the Director of Communications at IRD Global, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to that, Jean worked at Sandpiper from 2020 to 2023, where they held roles such as Director - Health APAC, Associate Director, and Account Director. From 2016 to 2020, they worked at SingHealth, where they held various senior-level positions in corporate communications and development. Before that, Jean worked at Golin as a Senior Manager from 2013 to 2016. Jean also has experience working at the National University Health System, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Health Promotion Board, and IKEA Southeast Asia & Mexico. Throughout their career, Jean has been involved in media relations, social media engagement, content development, crisis management, and internal communications. Jean has worked with healthcare clients, as well as non-healthcare clients in insurance, consumer technology, and FMCG.

Jean Angus has a diverse education history. In 1997 to 2001, they obtained a B.Soc.Sci (Hons) degree in Political Science from the National University of Singapore. Later, in 2011 to 2013, they pursued a Postgraduate Certificate in Public Health at The University of Manchester. Recently, in 2023, they completed a Diploma in Counselling Psychology at the College of Allied Educators. Additionally, they obtained certification as a CCI Certified Coach Practitioner from the Collective Change Institute in 2023.
