Territory Business Manager: Hepatology Orphan Drug / Rare Disease at Intercept Pharmaceuticals

Dustin Crider MBA AMR has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Dustin began their career as the Director of Sales and New Business Development at Diamond Homes, Inc., where they successfully planned and developed six new subdivisions, oversaw construction projects, and maintained strong relationships with employees and customers.

In 2004, Dustin joined AbbVie as a Senior Sales Representative for the Metabolic Franchise. Throughout their tenure, they consistently exceeded sales targets, ranking in the top 12% nationally for four out of seven years.

In 2014, Dustin transitioned to the role of HCV Sales Specialist at AbbVie, where they played a crucial role in the successful launch and promotion of Viekira Pak, Technivie, and OraSure. Dustin achieved impressive results, including generating the highest new-customer initiation rate in the nation for OraSure and developing key opinion leaders within the territory.

As an HCV Account Executive, Dustin further demonstrated their expertise by serving as a brand ambassador to specialty pharmacies and large healthcare institutions across the Southeast. Dustin successfully coordinated commercial team efforts and acted as the primary liaison for major accounts, such as specialty pharmacies, transplant centers, and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Most recently, in 2022, Dustin joined Intercept Pharmaceuticals as a Territory Business Manager, focusing on the orphan/rare disease market.

Dustin Crider MBA AMR has a diverse education history. Dustin earned their Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business from 2007-2010. Dustin also completed a Masters degree in Business Administration from the same institution. Additionally, they attended Harvard Medical School in 2008 for a course on Diabetes and Cardiovascular risk, although they did not obtain a degree from there.

In the earlier years, they pursued their theological studies. From 1998 to 2000, they attended Mercer University, where they earned a Master of Divinity (M.Div) degree, specializing in Theology and Semitic languages. Before that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts and Ministry degree at Brewton-Parker College from 1993 to 1997.
