John Hopwood

John Hopwood has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on sales and promoting pain management products. John started their career in 1999 as a Sales Representative at Cintas before moving on to Eli Lilly and Company as a Senior Sales Representative in 2000. During their time at Eli Lilly, they excelled in mentoring and leadership positions, exceeding sales goals and winning the President's Council in 2004. In 2013, they joined Purdue Pharma L.P. as a Pain Specialist TBM, where they promoted the opioid product line to various specialists and launched a new product. After that, they worked at Depomed, Inc. as a Senior Pain Specialist, where they achieved a top 5% national rank and won the Presidents Council. John promoted pain portfolio, opioids, gabapentin, and NSAID molecules, utilizing a consultative approach to understand customer needs and transform behaviors. In 2018, they joined ElectroCore, LLC as a Senior Territory Business Manager and later joined Assertio Therapeutics, Inc. as a Sales Specialist in 2019. Currently, they serve as a Territory Business Manager at Intercept Pharmaceuticals.

John Hopwood attended Plymouth State University from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Theater Arts. From 1997 to 1999, they also attended Arizona State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management.
