Jose Truzman

Jose Truzman, JD, MBA, is an experienced legal executive currently serving as Vice President and Corporate Secretary at Intercept Pharmaceuticals since July 2014. Previously, Jose held various leadership positions in the Legal Affairs department at Intercept Pharmaceuticals, including Executive Director and Senior Director. Prior to this, Jose worked at Daiichi Sankyo as Senior Corporate Counsel for Commercial Brands and held the role of Associate General Counsel at Progenics Pharmaceuticals. Jose began a legal career at Dewey Ballantine LLP as an Associate from 2001 to 2005. Academic credentials include a Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration in International Management, both earned from the University at Buffalo in 2001.
