Scott Gendron has over 28 years of work experience in various leadership roles in the pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing industry.

Scott is currently working as the Senior Director of Quality & Operations Program Management at Intercept Pharmaceuticals, where they oversee the implementation of quality and operations programs.

Prior to this, Scott worked at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, where they held multiple positions. From 2021 to 2021, they served as the Director of Global Operations & Quality PMO, responsible for establishing strategies and objectives for the global operations and quality Project Management Office. Before that, from 2015 to 2021, they were the Director of Operations at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, where they acted as the site director for the manufacturing of pharmaceutical and medical device products.

Before joining Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, Scott worked at IKARIA, Inc., which is now a part of Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals. Scott served as the Senior Manufacturing Manager from 2011 to 2015, leading the manufacturing site for pharmaceutical and medical device products.

Scott's earlier experience includes working at Solvay as an Operations Manager, where they held progressive project management and operations roles, ultimately becoming the Operations Manager of an FDA regulated food manufacturing site.

Throughout their career, Scott has demonstrated expertise in program management, quality assurance, and operations.

Scott Gendron holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University. Scott obtained their Chemical Engineering degree and Mechanical Engineering degree from the same institution. In terms of additional certifications, Scott Gendron is a Project Management Professional (PMP) obtained from the Project Management Institute in May 2020. Scott is also a Chemistry, Manufacturing, & Controls (CMC) Certified Professional (CMCCP) obtained from The Center for Professional Innovation & Education (CfPIE) in October 2019. Additionally, they are a State of Louisiana Professional Engineer in Chemical Engineering, obtained from the State of Louisiana.
