Sharon Karan

Sharon Karan has had a progressive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Sharon began their career at Array BioPharma as a Senior Clinical Pharmacology Research Associate from February 2006 to September 2011. Following that, they joined Vertex Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Clinical Pharmacologist from October 2011 to November 2015. Sharon then transitioned to Intercept Pharmaceuticals, where they held the role of Associate Director, Clinical Pharmacology from December 2015 onwards. Most recently, Sharon joined Pfizer in 2018 as the Associate Director of Clinical Pharmacology.

Sharon Karan completed their undergraduate studies from 1995 to 1999 at the University of Colorado Denver, majoring in Molecular Biology. In 2013, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Pharmacometrics at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. Additionally, Sharon holds a degree in MPharm from the University of Maryland Baltimore, although the specific dates and field of study for this degree are not provided.
