Carlo Brabers has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Carlo started their career in 1996 as a Manager in the Royal Netherlands Airforce's Defense Telecom Organisation, where they were responsible for managing a team and overseeing the construction of the first Fiber Optical Network in the Netherlands.
In 2000, Brabers joined Enertel as a Manager in Transmission Engineering and Consultative Selling, where they worked until 2005.
From 2006 to 2007, Brabers worked at ZTE Corporation as the Director of Sales and Business Development, where they helped establish the company's presence in Benelux and managed sales in the Netherlands, Belgium, Suriname, and Neth. Antilles.
Carlo then moved to Cisco Systems in 2008 and held various roles, including Sales Business Development Manager for Wimax in Europe and Sales Lead for Unified Access (WiFi) in North Europe. Brabers played a key role in defining sales strategies, implementing differentiated portfolios, and growing channel and indirect sales through partner development and enablement.
In 2013, Brabers joined Cisco as a Senior Sales Business Development Manager and Sales Lead for SP Mobility in North Europe, where they were responsible for sales and business development of the SP Mobility portfolio and was involved in programs and consultative selling for IoT, Industry 4.0, and Smart Cities.
Brabers then moved to Equinix in 2017, initially as a Senior Manager of Business Development for International Sales in EMEA and later as the Sales Director for EMEA Strategic Accounts. Carlo played a crucial role in building and growing the International Sales team, shaping sales strategies, and driving growth in Enterprise accounts in the EMEA region.
Currently, Brabers is working at InterCloud as the Director of Business Development, a role they started in 2023.
Carlo Brabers has a diverse education history. Carlo first attended Haagse Hogeschool Den Haag from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Commercieel Ingenieur Elektrotechniek. Following this, in 1995, Carlo briefly attended the Royal Military Academy where they completed an Officer program. From 1997 to 2000, they returned to De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Informatica & Informationknowledge. Continuing their education, Carlo attended De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences once again from 2000 to 2001, this time in the field of Telecom Broadband. Lastly, from 2011 to 2013, they pursued an MBA degree specializing in Global OneMBA at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
