Jelena Keravica

Jelena Keravica has extensive work experience in the software development industry. Jelena started their career as an intern at Rendered Text, where they gained knowledge and skills in test-driven development and continuous integration. Jelena then worked as a Software Engineer at Rendered Text, focusing on feature prioritization, creating interactive UIs, and developing Semaphore, a hosted continuous integration and deployment service. Jelena also contributed to improving the Semaphore dashboard by optimizing queries and enhancing the internal API.

Following their time at Rendered Text, Jelena joined Podyum LLC as a Frontend Developer. In this role, they collaborated closely with a team on the product development and user experience of The Podyum Recruit application. Jelena also played a key role in building new features, developing style guides, implementing a metrics system, and analyzing usage data to improve user flow.

Jelena's career then led their to WolkAbout, where they worked as a Frontend Developer. Continuing their journey, Jelena co-founded Peritia, a non-governmental organization focused on promoting and supporting informal education in IT. Jelena then joined GoDaddy as a Software Development Engineer, where they worked with JavaScript to build React components and applications with Redux. Currently, Jelena works at Intercom as a Senior Product Engineer. In this role, they are responsible for shipping features related to large volume email sending. Jelena tackles both technical and product ambiguity, partners with design, and communicates and documents proposed solutions with the aim of enabling customers to send various email communications through Intercom. Previously, at Intercom, they served as a Product Engineer and played a key role in building the new Email template editor, working closely with design and product management to disambiguate and prioritize work.

Jelena Keravica obtained their Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Univerzitet u Novom Sadu, from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the same university, from 2010 to 2014.
