Intercommunity Action helps people live fulfilling lives by providing resources for Aging, Behavioral Health, and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. They have provided assistance to help people live successfully in the community. Interact was established in 1969 as a private, not-for-profit, community-based organization designed to meet the human services needs of the residents of Andorra, Roxborough, Manayunk, Wissahickon, East Falls, and Nicetown neighborhoods of Northwest Philadelphia.

The executive team at Intercommunity Action has experience working in finance and accounting at various companies, including Northern Children's Services, Northeast Treatment Centers, and Lujon. They also have experience working in development at Bethesda Project and Philadelphia Children's Alliance. Their educational backgrounds are in accounting and finance from Philadelphia University and LaSalle University, and finance from Texas A&M University.
