Dave O'Brien has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of mechanical engineering. Dave currently holds the role of Mechanical Engineering Team Lead at Interface Fluidics, where they started in January 2022. Prior to this, they were a Senior Mechanical Engineer at the same company, starting in April 2021.

Dave's earlier experience includes working at Schlumberger as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and Design Engineer/Manufacturing Engineer. Dave'sresponsibilities included the development and project management of petroleum fluids analysis equipment, as well as the design of production and downhole tools.
Dave also worked as a Design Engineer at Stream Flo Industries and started their career as a Field Engineer at Schlumberger.

Dave O'Brien attended Memorial University of Newfoundland from 1988 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In May 1999, they also received the certification of P.Eng. from The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
