Project Lead/Technical Manager at Interface Polymers

Kayleigh McEwan has a diverse range of work experience in the field of polymer chemistry and engineering. Kayleigh is currently working as a Project Lead/Technical Manager at Interface Polymers Ltd since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Haydale as a Senior Development Engineer from 2018 to 2023. At Haydale, they managed multiple nanocomposite projects and developed nanomaterial solutions for customers. Kayleigh also gained experience in new product development and creating technical datasheets. From 2014 to 2018, Kayleigh worked as a Polymer Chemist at MAHLE, where they led technical projects related to polymer coated engine bearing applications and synthesized novel polymer coatings. Kayleigh was also involved in innovation and patent review committees, and provided REACH advisory for the site. Before that, they held a position at The University of Warwick as the GPC Facilities Manager and Synthetic Polymer Chemist/Analyst, where they managed the university's GPC suite and trained new students in polymer chemistry. Kayleigh also worked as a Post Graduate Research Assistant at the university. Kayleigh started their career as a Placement student at Infineum in 2006 while pursuing their MChem degree at the University of Sheffield from 2004 to 2008.
