Jeffrey Newton

Jeffrey Newton, CPA, currently serves as the VP of Audit & Finance and Controller at Delta Dental of Tennessee since June 2016. Additionally, Jeffrey occupies a position as a Board Member at Interfaith Dental starting in January 2018. Prior experience includes a tenure at Plante Moran from January 2006 to May 2016 as an Audit Manager in the Professional Standards Department, focusing on insurance clients, and an Internal Audit Internship at Jackson National Life in 2005. Earlier roles include positions at Staples, Kutas and Associates, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. Jeffrey holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Michigan State University, completed in 2005 and 2004, respectively.
