Marisa Alonzo

Marisa (Isa) Alonzo currently serves as Operations Manager at Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston, where responsibility includes managing safety, facilities, technology, administration, and events to support over 300 staff and 10,000+ clients. Prior experience includes roles as Dean of Instruction at Houston ISD and multiple positions at YES Prep Public Schools, including Director of Campus Operations, where Marisa led business operations and developed staff capabilities to enhance student outcomes. Marisa's career in education began as a founding third-grade teacher with KIPP Texas Public Schools and includes a series of instructional leadership roles. Marisa holds a Master of Business Administration from West Texas A&M University and a Master of Education in Administration and Supervision from the University of Houston, complemented by a Bachelor's Degree in History from Austin College.
