Sandy Deer

Sandy Deer has over 30 years of experience in human resources. Sandy began their career with CMI in 1981 and worked there until 1987. Sandy then joined Norbord Minnesota Inc. as an HR Manager and remained in that role until 2000. From 2001 to 2014, Sandy worked with Norbord as an HR Manager for their US operations. Since 2014, they have been the Director of Human Resources for Interfor's Southern Operations.

Sandy Deer holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan. Additionally, Sandy has obtained certification as a Certified Speaker, Trainer, and Coach from The John Maxwell Team in 2017. In 2015, Sandy obtained the SHRM-SCP certification from the Society of Human Resource Management. Sandy also holds the SPHR certification from the HR Certification Institute.
