Gabriela Luna Wolter is a highly experienced environmental professional with a strong background in ecological assessment and restoration. Currently serving as a Senior Profesional de las Ciencias at Superintendencia del Medio Ambiente since January 2016, Gabriela focuses on standardizing methodologies, estimating economic benefits and penalties, investigating environmental violations, and developing scientific foundations for environmental damage evaluations. With previous roles at IPCC as an Expert Reviewer for the Sixth Assessment Report and at Corporación Nacional Forestal as a Profesional Evaluación Ambiental, Gabriela has specialized in environmental impact assessments and recovery measures for endangered species. Additional experience includes project management in ecological restoration at Biota and conducting research in land reclamation at the University of Alberta. Gabriela holds a Master of Science in Ecology and a Forest Engineering degree graduated with honors from Universidad de Chile.
