Gaurav Parmar

Gaurav Parmar, MBA, JD, currently serves as General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer at Interior Health Authority, where responsibilities include establishing and building the legal department. Previous experience includes practicing as a Business, Real Estate, and Estate Planning Lawyer at Lindsay Kenney LLP, and holding a partner position at HSJ Lawyers LLP, the largest full-service law firm in Northern British Columbia. Gaurav has served on various boards including the Surrey Board of Trade as a director, and Northern Health as Deputy Chair and Chair of the Governance and Management Relations Committee. Additionally, Gaurav has contributed to academic institutions as a part-time instructor in business and law. Gaurav holds a JD from the University of Saskatchewan, an MBA, and a BBA from Simon Fraser University.
