Greg Smith

Greg Smith, CPP, CPD, CHPA, currently serves as the Manager of Protection, Parking & Fleet Services at Interior Health Authority since September 2020, leading key initiatives in support of patient care, including investigations and risk assessments. With a career beginning in the Canadian Armed Forces as a Bombardier, Greg transitioned to various security management roles, including Executive Director of Urban Security Innovation Inc. and Director of Enterprise Security Systems at Alberta Health Services, where responsibilities included overseeing security for approximately 1100 healthcare facilities. Previous positions also include management roles at Capital Health and Royal Alexandra Hospital, focusing on safety and security management. Greg holds educational credentials from Cornell University, The Wharton School, the University of Alberta, and MacEwan University, complementing extensive professional experience in security consulting and facility safety management.
