Nicole Harris

Nicole (Newman) Harris has a diverse work experience. Nicole started their career in 2010 as a Researcher/Evaluator at Intergovernmental Affairs New Brunswick. Nicole then worked as a Customer Service Representative at National Bank of Canada in 2011. In 2012, they served as a Communications Officer at Communications NB and as a Health Human Resources Advisor at Health Workforce Planning Branch. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Service Provider Database Coordinator at Health Workforce Information and Analytics Branch. Following that, they joined Doctors of BC as a Regional Advisor and Advocate until 2023. Currently, they are serving as the Lead, Medical Staff Contracts at Interior Health Authority. Throughout their career, Nicole has demonstrated strong skills in research, communication, and healthcare management.

Nicole (Newman) Harris completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing at the University of New Brunswick from 2008 to 2011. In 2023, they pursued a short course on Exercising Leadership from Harvard Online. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications on topics such as Acting Decisively, Inclusive Organization, Green Skills Gap, Gemba Kaizen, Emotional Intelligence, Psychological Safety, Confronting Bias, Fighting Gender Bias, The Six Morning Habits of High Performers, and Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn Learning. Nicole also completed the Exercising Leadership course from HarvardX in June 2023. Nicole has a certificate of completion in Advanced+ French Language proficiency and a Personal Health Information Privacy and Access Act Certification.
