Brett Harries

Brett Harries has extensive work experience in various roles within the mining and technology industries. Brett is currently serving as the Director of Commercial Operations at Interlate, a technology company that focuses on productivity improvement and decarbonisation, leveraging data science.

Before working at Interlate, Brett held the position of a Management Consultant - Operations Manager at CuDECO Limited, where they implemented Operational Discipline practices at the newly commissioned CuDECO Rocklands Operation.

Prior to that, Brett worked at Glencore, where they served as a Management Consultant - Operations Manager. In this role, they provided support to the Senior Leadership team in strategy development for improved plant reliability and operational predictability.

Brett also gained experience at Newcrest Mining as a Manager - Asset Management, where they were responsible for asset maintenance and the leadership of the Asset Management team.

In their earlier career, Brett held various roles at Glencore, OneSteel Recycling, and Mount Isa Mines. Notably, they served as a General Manager - Asset Management at Collahuasi, where they led the Asset Management facet of a multidisciplinary taskforce.

Throughout their career, Brett has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a focus on sustainable development and corporate governance.
