Sabine Schaller

Sabine Schaller is an accomplished engineering manager and lead with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving at the Interledger Foundation since April 2023, Sabine previously held roles at Coil, including research and development lead and IT consultant, from May 2019 to April 2023. As co-founder and director of registree from January 2018 to November 2021, Sabine showcased entrepreneurial skills. Early career experiences include positions at Empolis Information Management GmbH as a junior solution engineer and student employee in artificial intelligence, along with internships at Deutsche Bundesbank and Deloitte. Sabine holds a PhD in Economics - Financial Technology from the University of Cape Town, a master's degree in Statistics from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, and a bachelor's degree in Mathematical Finance from the University of Konstanz. Additionally, a research visit was completed at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2019.
