Melinda Zacher Ronayne has a diverse work experience in the field of arts and education. Melinda Zacher started their career as an International Baccalaureate Studio Art Instructor at Forest Hill Community High School from 2003 to 2006. Melinda Zacher then worked as a Scholarship Coordinator and Admission Counselor at the Maryland Institute College of Art from 2006 to 2008. Following that, they served as an Advanced Placement 2D Studio Art Instructor at Design & Architecture Senior High School from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, they became the Director of Visual Arts at the Interlochen Center for the Arts, where they currently hold the position. Additionally, they are a Board Trustee at the Arts Schools Network since 2018 and has served on the Board of Directors at the Great Lakes Children's Museum from 2015 to 2022.
Melinda Zacher Ronayne is currently a Doctor of Education - Ed.D. candidate at Vanderbilt University, specializing in Leadership and Learning in Organizations. Melinda Zacher previously obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Art Education from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2005, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in General Fine Arts from the same institution in 2001. Prior to that, Melinda studied Studio Art at Wake Forest University from 1997 to 1999. Melinda Zacher also holds a Master of Arts (MA) in Art Education from the Maryland Institute College of Art.
