In 2011, Lillian worked as a Case Manager and Resource Specialist at The Primavera Foundation, where they provided counseling and support to homeless men.

Lillian earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology, Women's Studies, and Black Studies from Providence College, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. During the same period, they also pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Sociology from Providence College.
Later, Lillian pursued a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) degree at the University of Maine from 2013 to 2015, specializing in the field of Social Work. As part of their professional development, they obtained a license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from the National Association of Social Workers in October 2015.
