Pablo Burgos Sainz

Pablo Burgos Sainz is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in direct lending and leveraged finance. Currently serving as Managing Director of Direct Lending at Intermediate Capital Group (ICG) since September 2020, Pablo oversees ICG’s Direct Lending practice in Spain, focusing on Senior Secured and Unitranche Financings for mid to large-cap transactions. Previously, Pablo held the position of Director at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking from July 2014 to July 2020, where responsibilities included origination and execution of leveraged finance deals and team management. Earlier in the career, Pablo worked as Vice President in Leveraged Finance at Banco Santander, leading transactions and restructuring processes, and also as an Associate in Project Finance within the same institution. Additionally, consulting experience was gained at Oliver Wyman, aiding European mobile operators in strategic planning. Pablo holds an MBA from INSEAD and a combined MSc-BSc in Business Administration from CUNEF.
