Cindy Brose

Cindy Brose has over 29 years of experience in education and advocacy, currently serving as an Educational Support Professional at Intermediate District 287 since August 1994, where responsibilities include teaching independent living and work skills to young adults with disabilities, chairing the fundraising committee, leading student events, participating in safety initiatives, and overseeing a student coffee shop. Additionally, Cindy has been a site representative and union negotiator for Local 2209 since September 2001, focusing on recruitment, contract navigation, and representing the union at state conventions. Prior experience includes floral design at Satin Bow Florist from 1987 to 1990 and freelance floral design for various businesses. Cindy's educational background includes degrees in retail floristry, floral design, and retail management from HTC, alongside a high school diploma with an emphasis on art from Irondale.
