Dan Liljenquist

Dan Liljenquist is the SVP, Chief Strategy Officer at Intermountain Healthcare. Dan has over fifteen years of experience in strategy consulting and operations management.

Liljenquist began their career as a strategy consultant with Bain & Company from 2001 to 2003. Dan then became the director of operational strategy for Affiliated Computer Services' $3B Commercial Solutions Group. In this role, they designed and implemented efficiency and cost containment strategies that generated over $300M in additional market value.

In September 2005, Liljenquist became the president and COO of Focus Services, a business services company with over 2,000 employees in 7 facilities worldwide. During their time at Focus Services, they oversaw the company's customer service, sales, and technical support operations for several Fortune 500 clients.

In January 2009, Liljenquist was elected to represent Utah Senate District 23. Dan served in the Utah State Senate until December 2011. During their time in the senate, they carried and passed pension and Medicaid reform legislation.

Dan Liljenquist attended Brigham Young University where they studied economics and then went on to attend University of Chicago Law School where they obtained their Juris Doctorate.

They are on a team with Mark Briesacher - SVP, Chief Physician Executive, Susan M. Robel - SVP, Clinical Operations & Chief Nursing Officer, and Robert W. Allen - SVP, Chief Operating Officer. Dan Liljenquist reports to Lydia Jumonville, Interim CEO.
