Erik Decker

Erik Decker is an accomplished information security professional with extensive experience in the healthcare sector. Currently serving as Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Intermountain Health since March 2021, Erik previously held the positions of Chief Security and Privacy Officer and Chief Information Security Officer at University of Chicago Medicine from July 2014 to March 2021. Prior to that, Erik was the Assistant Director of Information Security at Columbia University Medical Center from 2011 to 2014. Erik holds a Bachelor of Science in Cell and Structural Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Loyola University Chicago, as well as a leadership certificate from the Society for Information Management.
