Heather Brace is the SVP, Chief People Officer at Intermountain Healthcare. Heather has been with Intermountain Healthcare since April 2002, and in their current role since July 2015.

In their previous role as HR Manager - Nursing, Heather led human resource efforts for the Central Region for nursing. This included participating in strategic meetings that effect design and implementation of initiatives, participating on executive level committees and workgroups and partnering with nursing administrators, directors and managers. Heather also developed and delivered effective training and development that linked the needs of leaders/employees with organizational objectives, and acted as a change consultant for leaders and employees.

In their current role, Heather is responsible for leading the human resources team and developing policies and programs related to employee recruitment, retention, benefits, compensation, training and development, employee relations, and compliance with regulatory agencies. Heather also partners with senior leaders to develop strategies that support the organization's mission and goals.

Heather Brace has a Master of Science in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Utah. Heather also has a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the University of Utah. In addition, they have a certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in SPHR.

Heather Brace reports to Lydia Jumonville, Interim CEO. They are on a team with David L. Flood - SVP & Chief Development Officer, Susan M. Robel - SVP, Clinical Operations & Chief Nursing Officer, and Bert Zimmerli - EVP, Chief Financial Officer.
