Nate Rawlings

Nate Rawlings currently serves as the Head of Communications at RockCreek since May 2021 and is a member of the Board of Trustees at the National Child Research Center (NCRC Preschool) since July 2022. Nate holds the position of Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations since 2017 and previously worked as a Senior External Affairs Officer at The World Bank, focusing on the Middle East and North Africa, and as a Communications Advisor and Chief Speechwriter to the President at the Executive Office of the President from August 2015 to January 2017. Nate began a career in writing and policy as a Speechwriter for the Vice President of the United States and served as a Special Advisor at the U.S. Department of State. Early professional experience included a staff writer position at Time Magazine, where international affairs and politics were key focuses. Nate is a veteran, having served as a Captain in the U.S. Army, and holds advanced degrees from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree from Princeton University.
