Sizer Phil is a prominent academic and leader in the field of pain science, serving as the Co-Founder of the Matador UAS Consortium and Associate Vice President of Research Innovation at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center since September 1990. Additionally, Sizer holds positions as the Endowed Professor in Pain Science and Associate Dean for Research and Innovation within the School of Health Professions. In September 2023, Sizer commenced the role of Acting Chief Executive Officer at Texas Tech Research Park, LLC, while also serving as Senior Faculty at the International Academy since October 1994. Sizer earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Adult Learning and Sensorimotor Control and Learning from Texas Tech University between 1999 and 2002, following a Master's in Education (MEd) in Exercise Science from the same institution from 1991 to 1993.
