Sandip Patel

Sandip Patel is an experienced professional in CMC development and bioprocess engineering, currently serving as Associate Director of CMC Development at IAVI since August 2022. Previously held roles include Manager of DS External Manufacturing Operations and Lead Bioprocess Engineer at Novavax Inc., as well as Independent Consultant for CMC at PTC Therapeutics. Sandip has also contributed to CMC technical strategy at Oxford BioMedica and played a significant role in drug development at AstraZeneca as an R&D Manager. Early career experiences include positions at Xention Discovery, GSK, and a research role at the University of Hertfordshire. Sandip holds a Master’s degree in Pharmacology from the University of Hertfordshire and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Sardar Patel University.
