Lars Pottgiesser has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Lars started their career as a Teaching Assistant and NCAA Athlete at Truman State University. Lars later worked as a Graduate Assistant at The University of Tampa before transitioning to the public relations field as an Account Executive at Tucker/Hall. Lars then moved to the International Air Transport Association (IATA), where they held multiple roles such as Sales Manager, Passenger Manager for the U.S., Manager for the Regional Vice President Office in the Americas, and finally as the Head of Business Development/Regional Vice President Office for the Americas. In their roles at IATA, Lars focused on business development, strategic planning, relationship management, and industry advocacy across North and South America.

Lars Pottgiesser completed their Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Truman State University in 2006. In 2005, they also studied Spanish at the Institute of International Studies. Later, they pursued an MBA in International Business at the University of Tampa - John H. Sykes College of Business from 2006 to 2007.
