Sahil Dawany

Sahil Dawany is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in managing technology operations and strategic planning within the aviation sector. Currently serving as the Regional IT Manager for Africa & Middle East at the International Air Transport Association (IATA) since May 2011, Sahil formulates and aligns the ITS strategy with the global vision and oversees operations across nine countries. Additionally, in the role of Senior Manager for IATA Travel Pass Lab Solutions, Sahil defines market plans for health network integration to support the IATA Travel Pass rollout and manages partnerships within the ecosystem. Prior experience includes serving as IT Team Leader for Communications & Networking at Aramex, where responsibilities included designing telecommunications architecture and contact center solutions. Sahil holds a B.Sc. in Information Technology from Al-Balqa’ Applied University.
